Welcome to Morning Glory Ministry

Has your heart been broken?

Does fear or rejection or jealousy or bitterness mar your life?

Are the chains of self-anger, self-hatred, self-pity or condemnation,

guilt or shame holding you back from truly living?

Morning Glory Ministry is based on Biblical Scripture.

We believe Jesus wants to completely heal your broken heart.

When He was asked what the greatest commandment was (see Matthew 22:34-40) Jesus said the two greatest commands are to love God wholeheartedly, and to love other people as ourselves.  So, if this is the focus for what God wants us to do, it makes sense that these relationships are the focus for what the devil wants to destroy, doesn’t it?

God’s word gives us the tools to repair and restore these relationships.

When these relationships, with God, others or ourselves, are broken they become the root cause of most distress and illness.  We’ve all felt the effects.

Medical science has repeatedly shown the link between negative emotions and physical illness.  Maybe you know that stress decreases your immune system, thus decreasing your body’s way of fighting disease.  Did you ever consider that shame, anger, guilt, fear, rejection and any of those negative emotions are an emotional stress on you?

The word that is used in the New Testament for salvation is “sozo”.  Strong’s Dictionary defines it as meaning:  to save, that is, deliver or protect (literally or figuratively): – heal, preserve, save (self), do well, be (make) whole.  Yes, God wants to save us in a spiritual sense, but he also wants to heal us and make us whole!

In fact John 3:17 proclaims that “For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved (“sozo”) through him.” (Text from English Standard Version of the Bible)
